Terms of service
The commercial terms in plain language. This page is a starting point and should be reviewed by your own counsel before launch.
The service
We design, build, host and maintain a website for your business, including up to 7 standard content pages and standard online commerce functionality as described on our What's Included page.
Fees and commitment
You pay a one-time setup fee and a recurring monthly subscription of $25. Your setup fee and platform transaction rate are determined by the commitment length you select at signup. The monthly subscription continues after the commitment term ends unless cancelled.
Setup fee and build credits
Your setup fee buys the Lovable AI credits used to design and build your site, and is a starting estimate — a down payment, not a fixed cap. Lovable AI credits are 50 for $15, and most sites take roughly 200–350 credits to launch. The more pages, content, and refinements you want, the more credits the build uses, so the actual setup cost can run above the initial fee. Complex or in-depth builds — more pages, custom systems, or heavy refinement — will require additional startup fees. If that applies to your project, we will provide an estimate of the credits needed before any extra charge.
How your site is built and tested
Our websites and software systems are created using AI vibe coding technology, guided and reviewed by our team. All functionality — pages, forms, payments, bookings and any connected systems — must be tested by you before launch. Backend structural errors and issues are expected during a build and can be remedied quickly once reported.
Email sending add-on
The email sending add-on requires a professional email address on your own domain and cannot send from free Gmail or Yahoo-style addresses. Automated sends should not exceed 50 per day. Sending more than 35 emails per day puts your domain's email deliverability at risk and can affect all of your future communications. We do not monitor your sending volume and cannot and will not assist with correcting a compromised domain.
Platform transaction fee
Where your website processes online payments, we charge a platform transaction fee of 2.00%, 1.75% or 1.50% of each transaction depending on your commitment. The fee applies only to payments processed through the website and systems we build and operate for you. It does not apply to cash, checks, in-person or point-of-sale payments, or to invoices and payment links you send from other tools or other Stripe accounts. This fee is collected automatically through Stripe at the time of the transaction and is in addition to Stripe's processing fees.
Refunds and our fee
If you refund one of your customers, the refunded amount comes from your Stripe balance. Our platform transaction fee on that transaction is non-refundable, the same way Stripe's processing fee is non-refundable. Disputes and chargebacks, including any fees charged by Stripe, are your responsibility.
Payments and Stripe
Online payments require a connected Stripe account. You must accept Stripe's Connected Account Agreement and complete Stripe's verification. Payment method availability, including Affirm and Afterpay, is determined by Stripe and is not guaranteed.
Scope of work
Reasonable minor content updates are included. Additional pages, major redesigns, custom software, complex integrations, large data migrations, marketplace development, advanced CRM or ERP work, highly customized scheduling, large product catalogs, major SEO campaigns and large copywriting projects require a separate quote.
Your content
You own the content, images and branding you provide, and you confirm you have the right to use them. You grant us the license needed to build, host and maintain your website.
Domains
Where we register a domain on your behalf, the expected cost is $20 per year and it is registered for use with your website for the duration of your subscription. Domain availability is not guaranteed; if none of the names you provide are available, we will ask you for additional options.
Price changes
Prices are subject to change if Lovable AI, Stripe, domain, or other required provider pricing models change. We will communicate applicable changes before they take effect. Stripe processing rates remain separate and may vary by payment method, account and location.
Cancellation
You may cancel at the end of your commitment term. Early cancellation terms are disclosed at checkout before any payment is taken. Setup fees are non-refundable once work has begun.
Availability and liability
We work to keep your website available and secure, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Our liability is limited to the fees you have paid us in the preceding twelve months.
